One per first order

We refund up to one jar per order, on first orders from new customers. It covers your whole order, bundle included.

Activate with a photo

Within 14 days of delivery, send a quick before photo of the skin you want to improve. That activates your promise and gives you an honest starting point.

Use it daily for 60 days

Use the balm daily, as directed, for 60 consecutive days from delivery. You then have until day 100 to send an after photo and claim.

When your order is on its way, fill in the quick activation form and add a before photo of the skin you want to improve. Then use the balm every day.

Give it 60 days, then tell us

Use it daily for at least 60 consecutive days. If you are not happy, send your before and after photos any time up to 100 days from delivery.

We refund you in full

We review your claim and refund your original payment, usually within 10 business days of approval. Keep the jar, with no return postage.

Adding your photos

For a skin claim, attach a before and after photo of the same area. For a damaged or wrong item, a single photo of the problem is plenty. Once you submit, reply to our confirmation email with the photos attached, or send them to hello@MelaoSkin.shop with your order number.

Why 60 days

Skin works on a cycle, so we give it two.

Skin renews on a cycle of several weeks, and that cycle slows as we age. Sixty days gives it a couple of full turnovers, the fair window to judge a daily balm.

Tallow and Manuka honey work by topping up your skin's own lipids and holding moisture. That builds steadily with daily use, not overnight.

The before photo is for you as much as us. Two months in, it is the easiest way to see the change you stopped noticing, and most people who take it never claim.

Fair questions about the promise

How do I make a claim?

Three steps. When your order is on its way, fill in the activation form with a before photo of the skin you want to improve; that activates the promise. Use the balm daily for at least 60 consecutive days. If it isn't right, send your before and after photos within 100 days of delivery. Approved refunds go back to your original payment, usually within 10 business days.

Why the photo and the 60 days?

Because we're confident, not careful. Skin renews on a cycle that slows with age, so a couple of months of daily use is the fair window to see what the balm can really do, and the before photo is how you'll see the change for yourself. We'd rather you take the before photo than quit early and never know. Most people who take it never claim.

Do I need to send the jar back?

No. Keep it, finish it, or pass it to someone whose skin gets along with it better. Return postage punishes you for trusting us, so we don't ask for it.

What if I bought a bundle?

The promise covers your whole order. If the balm isn't right for you, the bundle wasn't either, so the full amount comes back.

What if my skin reacts?

Stop using it straight away. You don't need to wait the full 60 days: email us a photo of the reaction with your order number and we refund you in full. If your skin is sensitive, start with Unscented and patch test on your inner arm first.

Who is eligible?

The promise covers a first order from a new customer, one claim per household. It is a voluntary guarantee on top of your statutory rights, which it never replaces.
